What to do for St Patrick’s Day in St Albans

What’s the craic? This is the weekend to eat, drink and be Irish (whether you are Irish or not). Irish dancing, karaoke, Guinness and live music – here’s a few events to get you in the spirit! Hare & Hounds | Sopwell Lane
There will be Irish dancing from The Kathleen Murray School of dance, plus an Irish Menu with Guinness and Irish Whiskey on offer all day. They’ll be showing the England v Ireland Rugby game and there will also be live music from Gorjuswrex.

The Irish Club | North Orbital Road
The local Irish folk band, Missing The Ferry will be play at the Irish Club this Saturday.

The Jolly Sailor | Stone Cross
Whether you fancy watching the sport this Saturday or a good sing along, The Jolly Sailor will have you covered with the Six Nations and an evening of karaoke until 2am. They will also be serving an Irish menu throughout the day.

The Plough | Sleapshyde
Although the kitchens are closed due to the upcoming refurbishment, there will an all day BBQ serving Hedge’s Farm burgers and sausages.
