Street Cafe | Restaurant Review

Since I saw a photo of Street Cafe’s Family Breakfast Board it has been on my ‘must visit’ list, so after a bit of shopping this weekend we headed there to try it out. It’s an independent family run business cafe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The cafe has a lovely vibe, there were couples holding hands over a cup of coffee, a man drawing sketches as he sipped on a juice and a table of ladies catching up whilst eating brunch. It’s a lovely place to grab a quick bite or to sit down with the whole family and enjoy a meal.

We’ve just spent the past two weeks travelling around Morocco enjoying mint tea with every meal, so I ordered a fresh mint and the husband had a coffee. I was definitely born clumsy. It’s pretty standard that I’ll knock things over, drop things on the floor and trip over my own feet but this time I managed something particularly special. I managed to knock my tea into my husbands coffee, and caused the whole thing to overflow everywhere! However, I managed to take a photo before the spillage.

Street Cafe has a great breakfast menu but there was no surprise on our order – full english for the husband and homemade waffles with yoghurt and summer fruit for me, both were completely devoured in seconds.

Street Cafe also sells a homemade selection of cakes at the counter. On this occasion there was lemon drizzle, rhubarb tart, brownies and fruit cake. We’ll definitely be popping back to pick up some cake and also try out the evening menu which also sounds delicious.

Have you been to Street Cafe? What’s your favourite thing to order?
