There’s also a café that is open for breakfast from 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 4pm on a Sunday. You can pop in for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or just for a cup of coffee of tea. In my case I relaxed with a hot chocolate and copy of Hertfordshire Life.
The shop opens its doors at 9am Monday to Saturday and 10am on Sunday. As well as home-grown produce they also a great selection of other products. From oils to teas, to bread and chutneys. They also had a variety of alcohol including local beer, 3 Brewers and bottles of spirits and wine.
The meat available to purchase is from Hedges Farm, located just 4 miles from Smallford Farm Shop.
Smallford Farm Shop also sells perfect gifts from The Bottled Baking Company to treats from Easter. Make sure to keep an eye out on their website for an upcoming competition to win a large chocolate Easter egg too.
For all the local St Albans Mums, one of the great things about Smallford Farm Shop is that they have a play area for your little ones. So either whilst you shop or catch-up with friends over lunch, the children will be able to play.
