8th June, 2:30pm: A Roman City Revealed

On this walk you’ll see the hypocaust, the Roman central heating system not surpassed in England for over 1400 years, and part of the Roman Wall. Visit the unique Roman Theatre (small charge for entrance) where Roman acting was very much part of the activities. The cost is £5 for adults, and £2 for children (5-15).

9th June, 11am-5pm: Oaklands Summer Fair

The annual Summer Fair event is a great day of free family fun. You can meet the college’s animals, enjoy the trills of the funfair and soak up the live music. There will be tents selling gifts and crafts as well as food too.

9th June, St Albans Half Marathon

St Albans Half Marathon aims to raise money for local charities and organisations as well as put on a great day out for all the family. As well as the half marathon there will also be a wheelchair marathon, a 5k as well as a 1.5mile fun run for the kids. Head to the website to see the routes.

15th June, 2:30pm: Fishpool Street - Rags and Riches
